This video uses animation,
graphics, and video clips to illustrate and explain each of the
"flow" and "storage" processes in the Hydrologic Cycle,
more commonly known as the Water Cycle: precipitation, interception, runoff,
infiltration, percolation, groundwater discharge, evaporation, transpiration,
evapotranspiration, and condensation.

WHY THE OCEAN MATTERS
Covering 71 percent of the Earth and supplying half its oxygen, the ocean is our planet's life support system—and it’s in danger. Watch this video to learn why a healthier ocean means a healthier planet, and find out how you can help.

LEARN ABOUT TIDES, OCEAN CURRENTS AND WAVES
Water is an important part of our life. The biggest source of water is Ocean. There are a lot of things we can see in an ocean. Human designed so many machines that can measure the depth and life within the ocean. In this video, you will learn all about those things as well as Tides, Ocean currents and waves.
OCEAN CURRENTS
This video explains in detail the phenomenon of ocean currents and their role in nature.
Flow: Currents and Climate introduces viewers to oceanic thermohaline circulation - the system of global ocean currents that cycle warm and cold water across the planet. This marine conveyor belt is a key mechanism in the complex exchange of energy between the oceans and the atmosphere, transferring heat from tropical regions to cooler high latitudes, and it plays a vital role in regulating Earth's climate. Flow is a new film for the Science on a Sphere system, created by the Science Museum of Minnesota in partnership with the American Museum of Natural History, the Maryland Science Center, and the Institute for Learning Innovation. The movie is 8 minutes, 9 seconds long.
This animation uses Earth science data from a variety of sensors on NASA Earth observing satellites to measure physical oceanography parameters such as ocean currents, ocean winds, sea surface height and sea surface temperature. These measurements, in combination with atmospheric measurements such as surface air temperature, precipitation and clouds can help scientists understand the ocean's impact on weather and climate and what this means for life here on Earth. NASA satellites and their unique view from space are helping to unveil the vast... and largely unexplored.... OCEAN.
Educational videos for kids about water and nature. Animated series
TV Raindrop is a cartoon serie for children, classical animation series
kids about water, planet and environment. Educational an funny cartoons:
kids, children and tots, educational cartoons, fun and learn.
The adventure of this episode help children to learn about rivers. The course of a river is followed, the three areas of the river system are seen: production, transport and sedimentation. The problem of river pollution owing to the dumping of waste is looked at. The episode finishes in the delta. They must fight too against human contamination of the rivers.
Raindrop is a drop of water. These cartoon adventures teach children to respect nature, the environment, and especially to assess the importance to life on the planet is the care and use of water.

NASA: THE OCEAN: A DRIVING FORCE FOR WEATHER AND CLIMATE (VIDEO)
The Ocean is essential to life on Earth. Most of Earth's water is stored
in the ocean. Although 40 percent of Earth's population lives within,
or near coastal regions- the ocean impacts people everywhere. Without
the ocean, our planet would be uninhabitable. This animation helps to
convey the importance of Earth's oceanic processes as one component of
Earth's interrelated systems.

WHAT IS A RIVER?
Science expert Emerald Robinson explains what a river is and how the definition
can mean many types of moving water.
HOW A DELTA IS FORMED
Since the beginning of human civilization, people have settled along rivers and on the fertile deltas created by them. The sediment carried and deposited by mighty rushing waters creates land rich in nutrients and ideal for crops and livestock. Where there are uninhibited rivers, there is new, rich land, and where such resources abound there are people.
